Ingredients:
500 gms green tender peas
150 gms Paneer oil for frying
3-4 tbsp pre-cooked onion paste, or to taste.
1 tsp haldi (turmeric powder)
1 tsp dhania (coriander seed) powder
3-4 cups water
2 tbsp hara dhania (fresh coriander leaves), chopped
½ tsp garam masala or to taste
1 tsp salt, or to taste.
Method:
Shell the peas, wash and keep aside.
Cut the paneer into 1" cubes.
Heat the oil and fry the Paneer cubes till golden.
Soak the fried Paneer pieces in a pan of warm water and cover.
In a separate pan, heat 2 tbsp of oil, add the pre-cooked onion masala. Add haldi dhania, salt and peas.
Add 1/3 cup water, and stir for about 2-3 minutes till peas till peas are roasted.
Add more water. Cover and cook till peas become tender.
Add the drained Paneer cubes, cook and simmer for about 5 minutes.
Add hara dhaniaand garam masala.
Check if the curry looks thick. Add boiled water to adjust.
Note:
Serve hot with roti, rice or naan.
