How to Decorate a Pajama Party

When decorating for a pajama party you need to know what your guests will wait for for the evening, movies, gossip, drinks or poker. Will there be a meal involved or not? Is anyone planning to spend the night? All these questions should be answered on the invitations and the invitations should be sent out in front of time.

To decorate your pajama party, turn your party space into one huge bed push all the tables and chairs back against the wall. Lay out blow up mattresses around the room and stack extra cushions around the mattresses put down plush comforters or mattress pads on the ground. Then litter the area with bean bags and pillows. Lay out plenty of fuzzy blankets for everyone to get lost in. Let your guests slumber any way they feel comfortable encourage guests to bring their favorite stuffed animals to add to your decorations.

Next hang plenty of mixed glow sticks and necklaces. There are just too many glowing things these days to fill a whole room up. Try stars and planets to feel like you are sleeping outside. Glowing beads are great for any occasion simple inexpensive light up jewelry can be laid around tables and guests can take a little present home.

Candles can create a relaxed atmosphere just be careful of their placement. There will be a lot of flammable items nearby put long burning candles on pedestals away from bedding. Lanterns that burn oil add a nice glow and elegant touch scented oils even add an appealing aroma of your choice.

Decorate a coffee table with old sheets and set out paper plates with fun motifs on them. Match up cups and napkins and have abundance extra. Keep towels hidden under table for spills then lay a buffet style dinner. Keep foods that can sit out for a while such as fresh vegetables or a trail mix. This way guests can munch all through the night.

Don’t forget to spruce up the bathroom put an extra coffee mug or cup so people have a place for toothbrush. Make sure you have plenty of towels and toilet paper you could even spread your pajama party decorations into the bathroom by hanging comforters on the walls and adding glow sticks hanging from the ceiling.
