Canon Power Shot G10 is the 3rd incarnation of Canon's flagship 'prosumer' solid as the G series was reinvented through the G7 in 2006. Broadcast 2 years later than the G6, the G7 caused fairly a buzz; partly as everybody had presumed the financial plan SLR had killed off this segment of the market, partly because it lacked some of what had become G series brands and it would be fair to say the reaction was 'mixed'. The G9 went some way towards placating the opponents, reintroducing raw mode and improving handling, other than it still suffered from the basic difficulty that the sensor inside could not deliver on what the unbelievable camera assured on the outside.
